Deeper Learning: Instruction in the Digital Age

Deeper Learning refers to a pedagogical approach in which learners engage deeply with content and actively construct knowledge through both instructive and self-regulated processes of co-construction and co-creation. Knowledge becomes tangible through experiential learning, and deep learning processes culminate in authentic outcomes. The integration of formative feedback with performance development and the promotion of self-regulation are key elements. Deeper Learning takes place in hybrid environments that integrate in-school, out-of-school, and digital learning contexts. Professor Anne Sliwka's team conducts various projects on Deeper Learning, each with distinct objectives.
