Students, interested parties, employees - lend us your eyes!

With this perhaps somewhat misleadingly modified quote in the title, we would like to draw your attention to the new website of the Institute for Educational Science! Why is there a new website for the Institute?

Anyone familiar with the old website will quickly come up with an answer. At first glance, the new website looks modern, tidy and possibly better structured. However, this new design is not just for the vanity of the faculty, but we also hope that it will have other effects: A more appealing presence for prospective students, better orientation for information during studies and also a more successful fit of the future-oriented research at the institute with the technically-implemented self-presentation on the website.

In the course of this, we have also updated the various texts and applications relating to study regulations. In order to avoid having different versions of documents in circulation in the future, we decided to abolish the Institute's moodle intranet. Accordingly, all current and interesting content has been moved to the institute's new website. Only the newsletter function of the moodle course will continue to be used.

We would like to invite students to take a look at the new website, where they will now find helpful information on examination modalities, advisory services, study abroad offers, the compulsory internship and much more. As we are implementing the move and updating the website without additional resources, we kindly ask you to be considerate and point out any errors. These may be typing errors or non-functioning links, for example. We thank you for any information in this regard! Please contact:

The website is still partly under construction. Over the next few months, the individual departments will be adding to their websites, we will be detailing the Institute's research profile and adapting the information for students to avoid misunderstandings.
